One of Xero Competition's B & J engined Lexus Brtish Touring Car Championship contender's.B & J Racing Engines, headed by Bob Jones, has been building engines for Motorsport for more than 25 years!

B & J's competitive roots lie in Grass Track Racing where the Manchester based company have enjoyed many years of success. More recently B & J's racing engines have been used in touring cars (4 cylinder Toyota/Lexus engines in the British Touring Car Championship), International GT racing (Chevrolet LS1 V8's used in Corvette's in British GT and Belcar), in the club racing, "Silhouette" Saloon cars, and in Pick Up racing B & J supply the majority of the grid.

The indoor world land speed record has been broken at the NEC in Birmingham by a car powered by a B & J Racing Toyota engine, that reached the speed of 82mph.

British driver, Phil Cooper took the title driving a grass track racing car powered by a B&J Racing Engines Lexus/Toyota engine. The B&J powered car was up against strong competition including a Mitsubishi Evo and an Ariel Atom. The top speed needs to be verified by the Guinness Book of World Records. More...
