B & J Racing Engine Takes World Indoor Land Speed Record...
The indoor world land speed record has been broken at the NEC in Birmingham by a car powered by a B & J Racing Toyota engine, that reached the speed of 82mph.
British driver, Phil Cooper took the title driving a grass track racing car powered by a B&J Racing Engines Lexus/Toyota engine. The B&J powered car was up against strong competition including a Mitsubishi Evo and an Ariel Atom. The top speed needs to be verified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The engine in the World Record beating car was a 2 Litre, 4 Cylinder Toyota
supplied by B & J Racing Engines, it is basically the same engine as used in the Xero Competition Lexus's in the British Touring Car Championship in 2006, also supplied by B & J Racing Engines.
